Public Speaking & Debate Club
Effective communication is one of the most valuable skills a student can develop.
The Public Speaking & Debate Club helps learners become confident speakers, articulate thinkers and persuasive communicators through debates, speeches, discussions, presentations and public forums. Students learn to express their ideas with clarity while developing confidence, critical thinking and respectful listening skills.
As a reflection of our commitment to nurturing articulate and confident communicators, SFS School of Excellence (MA291) is proud to host the prestigious Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter-School Debate Competition – Zone A, one of the most respected debate competitions conducted under the CISCE. Hosting this distinguished event provides our students with opportunities to witness and participate in high-quality competitive debating, fostering intellectual curiosity, confidence and excellence in public speaking.
We are equally proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our young debaters at the Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter-School Debate Competition 2026–27, whose dedication, eloquence and critical thinking exemplify the spirit of excellence that SFS School of Excellence strives to instil in every learner.
English Literary Guild
The English Literary Guild nurtures a lifelong love for language and literature.
Students participate in creative writing, storytelling, poetry, book discussions, reading circles, literary quizzes, and language-based activities that strengthen vocabulary, imagination, and communication skills while encouraging a deep appreciation for literature.
Hindi Literary Guild
Our Hindi Literary Guild celebrates the richness of Hindi language, literature and culture.
Through कविता पाठ, storytelling, essay writing, dramatics, debates and literary appreciation, students develop linguistic confidence while strengthening their cultural roots and creative expression.
Science & Innovation Society
Curiosity drives discovery.
The Science & Innovation Society encourages students to question, investigate, experiment and innovate through hands-on activities, STEM projects, scientific exploration, design thinking and practical problem-solving experiences.
Students are inspired to think like young scientists and innovators while connecting classroom learning with real-world applications. By encouraging inquiry, research and creative thinking, the club nurtures a mindset that empowers learners to develop solutions for the challenges of tomorrow.
A defining milestone in our journey of innovation came when SFS School of Excellence became the only school from Nagpur to be conferred an Honorary Title at the UNESCO World Forum for developing an innovative Paralysis Sensor. This remarkable achievement reflects the power of young minds creating meaningful solutions for humanity and demonstrates what students can accomplish when curiosity is combined with purpose.
